Naperville Woman Sentenced In Storefront Church Scheme
CHICAGO (WBBM) - It's off to the DuPage County Jail late next month for a Naperville woman who has pleaded guilty to charges connected with a storefront church investment scheme.
Sallie Berry has been sentenced to 30 days for her role in helping Aurora-based Howard Richmond, the pastor of Life Reach Ministries Worldwide.

She reached a deal to plead guilty Wednesday to one misdemeanor count of commercial bribery.
As a condition of the agreement, Berry must testify against Richmond. While working for Chase Bank in Naperville, Berry allegedly falsified documents to help Richmond persuade others to invest in construction of a new church building.
