Multiple Vehicles Broken Into, Burglarized On Same Block In Morgan Park
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Five vehicles were burglarized in Morgan Park overnight.
Burglars smashed into a block-worth of cars near 115th and Davol streets and took everything inside just after midnight.
The offenders fled the scene and no arrests have been made.
The Illinois Army National Guard said it has accounted for all government-owned firearms and body armor.
The Chicago Police Department is investigating thefts outside a Morgan Park nightclub early Friday morning. At least one member of the Illinois National Guard appears to have had a government-issued identification card, an inactive government credit card, and a government-owned laptop computer stolen along with personally owned items.
The thefts remain under investigation by the Chicago Police Department. The Illinois National Guard Soldier was not on duty or orders at the time of the theft.
