Motorist Wounded In Roscoe Village Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man driving in the North Side Roscoe Village neighborhood Saturday morning was wounded when someone in another vehicle shot him.
The man was driving in the 3400 block of North Western Avenue about 5 a.m. when someone in a gray vehicle opened fire on his car, according to police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was able to drive himself to Swedish Covenant Hospital, where his condition was stable, Estrada said.
The shooter was not in custody as of later Saturday morning. Area North detectives are investigating.
