Moore Ejected In Bears' Win
CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago Bears defensive back D.J. Moore was ejected in the fourth quarter Sunday on a play that precipitated a skirmish between several players in front of the Lions' bench.
Frustration surfaced when Tim Jennings came up with the Bears' third interception of the game. During the return, replays showed that Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford grabbed Moore near the helmet and threw him down. Moore got up and went back at Stafford, who was still on the ground.
Players then began shoving and pushing in front of the Lions bench for about a minute. After the referees broke it up and settled what had happened, Jennings was ruled down by contact where he made the pick and Moore was ejected for his hit on Stafford. The Bears led 37-6.
