Missing Northwest Side Man Found Safe
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A senior citizen who had been missing from the Northwest Side since Saturday morning has been located and is unharmed, police said.
Daniel Nystrom, 67, went missing about 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the 2700 block of North New England Ave., according to a missing person release from Grand Central Area detectives.
Nystrom, who has been showing signs of Alzheimer's disease, left the residence in a gray 1999 Honda Accord, police said. He may have gone to get gas and gotten lost.
Nystrom frequents MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Foster Avenue beach and suburban Elmwood Park and River Grove.
Police on Tuesday said he was located in downtown Chicago and was in good health.
