(CBS) – The identity of a man found wrapped in a carpet and dumped in the woods in Northwest Indiana is now known.
The Lake County Coroner's office says family members have identified the man as Nathan Marshall, 30, of Whiting, Ind. He had been reported as missing in December.
His body was found late Wednesday afternoon about a half-mile off Fairbanks Street in Gary, by a boy riding an all-terrain vehicle.
A person of interest is in custody, Gary Police Sgt. Ed Jenkins. He would not comment further, saying autopsy results were expected Friday.
