Missing Highland Park Boy Found On Near North Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A missing 12-year old north suburban boy has been found safe in Chicago.
As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, Chicago Police say shortly after 6:30 a.m. Monday, they received a 911 call about Vatrell Knox, who had been missing from his home in Highland Park.

Police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli says the 12-year-old boy had knocked on a door in the 700 block of West Evergreen Avenue in the old Cabrini-Green area, and a resident called police.
Vatrell had been missing since Sunday morning, when he walked away from his Highland Park home.
He has had a history of running away, and had previously been found in the 7900 block of South South Shore Drive, the 300 block of East North Water Street, and in the area of Navy Pier, the release said. He had been known to use trains and buses for transportation and would provide fictitious information if questioned.
Vatrell's family his family was worried he might be in a bad frame of mind and hurt himself.
