Miller: Hanie Can Build Off First Start
(WSCR) With Jay Cutler out for at least the foreseeable future, the Bears have no choice but to trust an inexperienced Caleb Hanie.
Hanie struggled in his debut as a starter, throwing three interceptions in the first half as the Bears lost to the Raiders, but one Bears expert said he saw some positives from the young quarterback.
"I know it wasn't a good first half with the three interceptions, but I do like the effort, the focus, the determination by Caleb to come out in the second half and keep fighting," Jim Miller told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. "That's to be commended."
