Miller: Bennett Shines In Return
(WSCR) Welcome back, Earl Bennett.
As the Bears wide receiver made his debut after missing six games with a chest injury, he caught five balls for 95 yards and a touchdown as the Bears defeated the Eagles, 26-20.
"He was (Jay Cutler's) No. 1 last year and if he wouldn't have gotten hurt in New Orleans, he'd be leading the team in receptions," former Bears quarterback Jim Miller told The McNeil and Spiegel Show today. "There's no question about that.
"I think he's faster than what everybody gives him credit for. I think he's more physical than everybody gives him credit for. He knows his assignment. He knows his job. Jay knows that he's somebody that he can count on. ... He does nothing but produce."
