Mike Ditka's Son, Mark Ditka, Charged With DUI
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One of former Chicago Bears Coach Mike Ditka's sons is facing another DUI charge.
Police say 49-year-old Mark Ditka was arrested Sunday in Deerfield and was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
Police say they found an unmarked bottle of hydrocodone pills in his car.
Deerfield Police say Mark Ditka refused to take a breathalyzer test or a blood test.
Mark Ditka was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle, driving on a suspended license and illegal lane use.
It's Mark Ditka's second DUI arrest in Deerfield in 12 months. Breathalyzer results in the first case were thrown out of court.
