Michael Jordan Congratulates Warriors On 73 Wins: 'Records Are Made To Be Broken'
(CBS) Bulls legend Michael Jordan recognizes game when he sees it.
With that in mind, Jordan wasted no time congratulating the Warriors on their 73rd win in Wednesday's regular-season finale, which broke the 1995-'96 Bulls' record of 72 wins.
"I want to congratulate the Warriors on their amazing season," Jordan said in a statement. "The game of basketball is always evolving, and records are made to be broken. The Warriors have been a lot of fun to watch and I look forward to seeing what they do in the playoffs.
Fellow Bulls legend Scottie Pippen shared his congratulations as well.
Those Jordan-Pippen Bulls won the NBA title. That's now the Warriors' next quest.
