Miami Newspaper Runs Ad Congratulating Heat For Winning Championship
CHICAGO (CBS) The Miami Herald ran an ad in Monday's paper congratulating the Heat on winning the NBA Championship, the only problem is that they didn't, the Dallas Mavericks did.
"Congratulations Miami!," the Macy's ad said. "Celebrate the 2011 NBA Champions with official merchandise."
To make matter worse for the newspaper, the ad ran directly below a story about the lackluster performance of the Heat's point guard, as well as, in all caps: "DALLAS WINS BEST-OF-7 SERIES 4-2."
The 105-95 win gave the Mavericks their first NBA Title in franchise history.
