Mexican Coach Bans Players From Alcohol, Sex During World Cup
(CBS) Mexican national team soccer coach Miguel Herrera doesn't want any distractions for his players at next month's World Cup, and he's gone to great lengths to ensure they'll be focused.
Herrera has banned his players from drinking alcohol and having sex during the World Cup, according to a Yahoo report.
"If a player can not endure a month or 20 days without having intercourse, then you are not prepared to be a professional," Herrera told Mexican newspaper Reforma, according to Yahoo.
"Let's play a World Cup, we're not going to a party."
Mexico is in a group with host Brazil, Croatia and Cameroon.
