Metra UP-N Movement Halted, Train Strikes Vehicle
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Train movement is halted near Lake Forest on the Metra Union Pacific North line after a train clipped a vehicle Saturday afternoon.
Metra officials said the incident, occurring just before 5 p.m. at Deerpath and Western, was minor and no injuries have been reported. Lake Forest Police are investigating the crash.
Inbound and outbound movement is currently stopped and the length of delays is unknown.
