Metra Trains Stopped For Incident With Vehicle
MOKENA, Ill. (STMW) - Two Metra trains are stopped Wednesday night for an incident involving a train and an automobile.
Inbound Rock Island District train No. 530, scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 10:48 p.m., was involving in the "grade crossing incident" with the vehicle and is currently stopped at 191st Street near the Hickory Creek station, according to Metra's website.
Outbound train No. 527 is also delayed because of the incident, and remains stopped near the Hickory Creek station, located at 9430 Hickory Creek Dr. in Mokena.
