Metra Train Hits Car In Tinley Park
TINLEY PARK (CBS) -- A Metra Rock Island District train collided with a vehicle in Tinley Park on Tuesday, causing delays for commuters.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. at a crossing along 80th Avenue in Tinley Park. The car was wedged under Train #514, but there were no reports of injuries, according to Metra.
Train #514 was scheduled to arrive Chicago at 1:50 p.m. The estimated time of delay is unknown, according to an alert on Metra's website.
