Mentally Challenged Teen Sexually Assaulted
CHICAGO (STMW) - A Back of the Yards neighborhood man accused of sexually assaulting a mentally challenged teen last month was indicted on sexual assault charges on Friday.
Bolibar Gutierrez-Nambo, 35, of the 4300 block of South Marshfield Ave. was charged Oct. 16 with two counts of criminal sexual assault after allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old mentally challenged girl at his home, police said.
On Friday, Gutierrez-Nambo was indicted with the charges and an arraignment date was set for Dec. 1, Cook County State's Attorney's office spokesman Andy Conklin said. He was ordered held on $150,000 bond on Oct. 16.
One of the assaults occurred sometime between Feb. 1 and Oct. 10th, according to police.
A police report said Gutierrez-Nambo "on several occasions" fondled the victim several times.
He was arrested Oct. 15 at 1:29 p.m at the Marshfield address.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
