Mega Millions Rolls Over, Jackpot At $51 Million
CHICAGO (STMW) - Everyone's attentions may be turned to the $325 million Powerball jackpot, but the growing grand prize for the Mega Millions lottery isn't anything to scoff at.
No one matched all the numbers drawn in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing and the estimated grand prize for the multi-state lottery game grew from $41 million to $51 million.
The winning numbers in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing were: 03 - 04 - 18 - 29 and 50, and the Mega Ball number was 20.
The only Illinois player who came close to the jackpot, according to the Illinois Lottery, was someone who bought their ticket at Casey's General Store in Grant Park, a town in Kankakee County. That player matched five of five numbers and will receive $250,000.
Two other Illinois players matched four of five numbers and the Mega Ball, and they will each receive $10,000.
The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Tuesday night.
