Mega Millions Rolls Over, Grand Prize Grows To $40M
CHICAGO (STMW) - Nobody matched all six numbers in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing and the estimated grand prize will grow to about $40 million.
The winning numbers in Friday's Mega Millions drawing were 8 -- 9 -- 17 -- 32 -- 34 and the Mega Ball number was 13, according to the Illinois Lottery's website. The Megaplier number was 2.
The estimated grand prize for Friday's drawing was $30 million.
No tickets that matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball were sold in Illinois, nor were any tickets simply matching all five numbers, the website said. One person matched four of five numbers and the Mega Ball and will receive $10,000.
The estimated grand prize for Tuesday's drawing is $40 million.
