PAWS Chicago Pet of the Week - 5-year-old Ophelia
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Our PAWS Chicago Pet of the Week is a special 5-year-old snow white cat named Ophelia.
Ophelia came to PAWS Chicago with what is known as a tail pull injury. The cause of her injury is unknown; perhaps a car accident or her tail may have gotten stuck in something. But her injury did paralyze her tail and left her incontinent.
She's a sweet girl, full of love, who needs a little extra care. She wears a diaper that needs to be checked every 3 or 4 hours, but she will thank you with hours of nuzzles and purrs. Among the most affectionate cats that the PAWS team has cared for in all their years, you can meet her today at the PAWS Chicago Adoption Center and give her the home she deserves.
