McClellin Dealing With Plantar Fasciitis
(CBS) According to a report from the Tribune, Bears defensive end Shea McClellin has plantar fasciitis.
The Tribune reports McClellin, who was drafted by the Bears in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, began experiencing discomfort in February during a work out.
The Bears begin a three-day mandatory minicamp Tuesday and expect McClellin to participate fully. He has had full participation in all offseason workouts to this point.
McClellin's counter part, Julius Pepper, played with plantar fasciitis during the 2012 season where he earned his eight Pro Bowl nomination.
