McCarthy: Rodgers Improving, Still Not Cleared To Play
(CBS) Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Aaron Rodgers is "getting better," but the quarterback still hasn't been cleared to play.
"Aaron is doing better," McCarthy said. "He still has not been cleared by the medical staff.
"Threw the ball extremely well. Looked sharp. He's getting better."
McCarthy noted that Rodgers showed some improvement in Wednesday's practice.
Matt Flynn continued to work with the first team in preparation for Green Bay's game against the Steelers on Sunday.
A decision on Rodgers' status is expected to come Friday.
