Marshall: 'I Predict Jay Cutler Will Be Back In 2 Weeks'
(CBS) Brandon Marshall is very optimistic about his quarterback's return.
He's so optimistic that he told MSNBC Thursday: "I predict Jay Cutler will be back in two weeks. They say four to six, but we got the right people around Jay right now so we'll get it done."
Marshall was a guest on "Andrea Mitchell Reports" Thursday afternoon, speaking about mental health reform. Wednesday, the wide receiver was in Boston at a gala with Vice President Joe Biden to launch the Kennedy Forum, which was founded by former Rep. Patrick Kennedy to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Community Mental Health Act.
Cutler suffered a tear in his groin Sunday and is expected to miss at least four weeks. If Marshall's prediction is correct, however, Cutler would only miss one game -- the Nov. 4 Monday nighter in Green Bay.
