Markham Man Killed In Harvey Shooting
HARVEY, Ill. (STMW) -- A Markham man died Saturday after he was shot in south suburban Harvey.
James Needom, 35, was shot in the 15300 block of South Seeley Avenue in Harvey, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Needom, of the 16100 block of South Poplar Avenue in Markham, was taken to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey where he died at 8:28 p.m. Saturday, according to the medical examiner's office.
An autopsy Monday found he died of a gunshot wound to the flank and ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner's office said.
Harvey police have not returned messages seeking comment.
