Marcus Jordan Ordered To Pay $250 Fine
(WSCR) Marcus Jordan, the son of Hall of Fame basketball player Michael Jordan, was ordered today to pay a $250 fine for a disturbance outside a downtown Omaha hotel last month.
Marcus Jordan pleaded no contest at the Douglas County Courthouse earlier Thursday morning.
On July 1, police responded to a disturbance call outside the Embassy Suites in Omaha, Ne. where they found Marcus Jordan arguing with two women outside the hotel. According to a police report, Jordan was "very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative."
Under Nebraska law, Jordan was not required to be in court. His attorney, Steve Lefler, told KMTV Action 3 News that Marcus showed up because he didn't want people to think he was getting special treatment.
