Marcus Jordan Making Mark At UCF
ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS) -- Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, is now making his own mark as a shooting guard for the University of Central Florida.
Marcus Jordan was only about six months old when his father won his first NBA Championship title with the Bulls in 1991. But this season, the younger Jordan helped lead the UCF Knights to a 14-0 start, and hopes to lead the team to a comeback now, USA Today reported.

The Knights lost eight straight before beating Tulsa 58-57 this past Saturday.
Marcus is the leading scorer for the team with a 15.8-point average, USA Today reported. He has not missed a game this season despite being slowed down by ankle and toe injuries, the newspaper reported.
Marcus also gained attention two seasons ago for insisting on wearing Nike Air Jordan shoes instead of Adidas, the brand that was sponsoring UCF. As a result, Adidas terminated its sponsorship contract.
Marcus Jordan's older brother, Jeffrey Jordan, is also now playing for UCF. Before that, he spent three seasons with the University of Illinois, during which he scored six points on 3-on-3 shooting during postseason NIT against Dayton last year.
