Maple Tree Inn To Reopen In Temporary Spot On Friday
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Encouraging progress for a famous Blue Island restaurant devastated by a fire in August.
The Maple Tree Inn will reopen in a temporary location Friday at 5:00 p.m.
The new site is at 130th and Western, in Blue Island. The historic restaurant has been honored for its Cajun and creole cuisine.
The owners are trying to repair the damage at the original location gutted by a blaze.
