Abt general manager Mark Cook said business was booming for TV sales ahead of the Bears game Sunday.
"Right around the Super Bowl, we definitely see a spike in televisions," Cook said. "Of course, it's completely dependent on whether it's a team that everybody around here likes or hates. For the Bears, it's just going to be a dramatic increase anyway. But I would say right now, we're up a good 40 percent in terms of floor traffic."
How big a TV do most people want?
"The most popular size is 55 inches. That's absolutely the biggest number for us," Cook said. "That's not outrageously large where most people can't take it, and it's big enough to be considered a true big-screen TV."
Cook expects sales will only grow as Sunday draws closer.
