Man With Bandana Over Face Robs Woodridge Bank
WOODRIDGE, Ill. (STMW) -- A man in a Charlotte Hornets cap and holding a dark-colored bandana over his face robbed a west suburban bank branch Wednesday.
The robbery took place shortly after 11 a.m. at the TCF branch at 2317 75th St. in Woodridge, according to the Chicago FBI office.
A man holding a bandana to his face approached the teller, announced a robbery, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, the FBI said.
The robber was described as a black man between 20 and 30, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over a light blue Hornets baseball cap with a sticker on its bill.

No weapon was used or displayed, according to the FBI.
There have been at least 55 bank robberies in the Chicago area this year, according to the FBI. Last year there were 115.
