Man Wearing Construction Gear Robs TCF Bank In Westmont
WESTMONT (CBS) -- A west suburban bank branch was robbed Friday by a man wearing a construction vest and hat.
The robbery took place at the TCF Bank branch at 4 E. Ogden Ave. in Westmont, according to the FBI.
The robber was described as a black man with a large build, about 20 to 30, 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1, wearing dark pants, tan shirt, and a construction hat and vest.
No weapon was shown in the robbery.
There have been at least 101 bank robberies in the Chicago area this year, according to the FBI. Last year there were 115.
