Man Tries To Lure Girl Into Car In Jefferson Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police Thursday morning were looking for a man who tried to lure an 11-year-old girl into his car on the city's Northwest Side.
Around 3:15 p.m. this past Monday, the girl was at the corner of Menard Avenue and Ainslie Street in the Jefferson Park neighborhood, when the man pulled up in his car and instructed her to "get in," Area North detectives said.
The girl ran away before anything else happened.
The man was described as white with bushy, gray hair, police said. He was in a smaller, four-door vehicle, silver or white in color, possibly a Honda Civic, the alert said.
