Man Tries To Kidnap Girl In Wheaton
WHEATON, Ill. (STMW) -- A motorist tried to abduct a little girl near a school bus stop Friday morning in west suburban Wheaton.
The incident occurred at 8:45 a.m. near a school bus stop at Brighton Drive and Somerset Lane, police said.
The girl ran to a neighbor's home after a man driving a green car stopped near the corner and asked the child if she would like to come home with him, police said.The man did not get out of the car.
The suspect is described as a possibly middle-aged Hispanic man with dark hair. He was driving a green mid-sized car.
