Man Tries To Abduct Two 12-Year-Old Girls
CHICAGO (CBS/WBBM) -- Police are warning residents in the area of 43rd Street and Indiana Avenue about an attempted child abduction.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's David Roe reports, police say last Thursday morning about 9:30 a.m., a man tried to lure two 12-year-old girls into his car as they made their way to their school around half a mile away in the 200 block of East Pershing Road.

Police say the man was driving a red four-door car with the rear window broken out and covered with plastic.
Police say the girls described the driver of the car as an African-American man about 30 to 40 years old, 160 pounds, with short black hair and a medium complexion.
