Man, Teen Injured In Far South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man and a teen were injured in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Far South Side Washington Heights neighborhood.
The shooting happened at 2:46 p.m. at West 103rd and South Aberdeen streets, police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety said.
A 20-year-old man was shot in the lower back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in "stable" condition, while a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg and taken to Christ in good condition, he said.
No one was in custody Wednesday evening. Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
