Man Steals iPhone At Gunpoint In Schaumburg
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (STMW) -- Police are looking for the man who robbed a teenage boy at gunpoint Saturday night in northwest suburban Schaumburg.
The man approached a 16-year-old boy from behind in the 600 block of North Knollwood Drive in Schaumburg about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, according to a release from Schaumburg police.
The man had a small, black semi-automatic handgun and demanded the boy's iPhone, police said. The boy was not injured.
The gunman fled on food with the phone, police said. He is described as an 18- to 22-year-old black man with a slender build, dark complexion and brown eyes.
He is about 6-feet tall, 175 pounds and was wearing a red and yellow baseball cap, red hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans, police said.
