Man Stabbed To Death In Chatham
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was stabbed to death Sunday night in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
At 11:19 p.m., the man was in a fight with another male on the sidewalk in the 8300 block of South Cottage Grove when he was stabbed multiple times in the chest, according to Chicago Police.
The man, thought to be in his 30s, was dead at the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office did not immediately provide information on the fatality.
Area South detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
