Man Stabbed In The Head After Breaking Into Home
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was stabbed in the back of the head with a pair of scissors, and a woman suffered minor injuries in a fight during a drug deal gone wrong Sunday morning on the South Side.
The incident occurred about 6:30 a.m. in the 7900 block of South Sangamon Street, police said.
A man, whose age was not immediately available, broke in through a rear window after he was previously turned away from the home where he was trying to buy marijuana, according to police. The man brandished a knife and fought with a woman who stabbed him the back of the head with a pair of scissors.
The man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The woman suffered minor injuries.
Charges are pending against the man, according to police.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
