Man Stabbed In Neck Near Magnificent Mile
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is recovering the day after he was stabbed in broad daylight on the Near North Side, less than a block from the Magnificent Mile.
At 5 p.m. Wednesday, the man was stabbed near Chicago Avenue and Rush Street, police said.
He suffered an apparent stab wound to the neck and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.
Dispatch reports at the time indicated someone may have taken a cell phone image of the offender and police were using the photo in hopes of finding him.
No updates were available as of midday Thursday.
