Man Stabbed, Critically Wounded In Austin Domestic Incident
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was critically injured in a domestic-related stabbing Sunday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
The domestic incident happened about 2:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Monitor Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss said.
The man suffered at least one stab wound to the stomach and was taken in critical condition to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Purkiss said.
A suspect is in custody, but no charges have been filed as of Sunday evening, police said.
Area North detectives are investigating.
