Man Stabbed, Beaten With Baseball Bat
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was stabbed multiple times and struck in the head with a baseball bat early Friday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The man was walking in the 2600 block of North Leclaire Avenue at 12:45 a.m. when several people exited a vehicle and attacked him, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
The 20-year-old man was taken in serious condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with stab wounds to the thigh, back and arm.
No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
