Man Shot, Wounded On West Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and wounded overnight on Cicero Avenue on the city's West Side.
Police responded just before 11 p.m. Tuesday to the 500 block of North Cicero Avenue – on the cusp of the West Garfield Park and South Austin neighborhoods – after the 19-year-old-victim was shot in the buttocks.
The victim was hospitalized in good condition, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.
No one was in custody in the shooting as of Wednesday morning.
