Man Shot, Wounded In Brainerd Neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) - Police are searching for the gunman who shot and wounded a man in the South Side's Brainerd neighborhood overnight.
Around 9:13 p.m. Wednesday, the man was shot in the head as he sat on a front porch at 9020 S. Ada St., police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, according to police.
Detectives remained on the scene early Thursday and no arrests have been made.
There is also no word on a possible motive in the case.
