Man Shot While Trying To Break Into South Shore Home
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot while trying to break into a home early Thursday in the South Shore neighborhood, police said.
The 36-year-old man was trying to break into a home in the 7800 block of South South Shore Drive about 4 a.m. when a 54-year-old man who lives in the home shot him in the arm, according to Chicago Police.
The younger man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
Area South detectives were investigating the incident Thursday morning.
