Man Shot To Death In Calumet City
(STMW) -- An 18-year-old man was shot to death Saturday in south suburban Calumet City.
Ike King was shot in the back in the 0-100 block of River Oaks Center Drive in Calumet City some time Saturday, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 4:25 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
An autopsy performed Sunday found King, of the 1000 block of East 159th Place in South Holland, died of the gunshot wound. The death was ruled a homicide.
Calumet City police could not immediately comment Sunday afternoon.
