Man Shot To Death In Bellwood
(STMW) -- A 27-year-old man was shot to death Monday afternoon in west suburban Bellwood.
Trastan Agee, of the 00 to 100 block of 21st Avenue in Maywood, was pronounced dead at Loyola University Medical Center at 5 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Agee was standing outside a vehicle on 22nd Avenue near Washington Boulevard about 3:45 p.m. when he got into an altercation and was shot, Bellwood spokesman Andre Harvey said.
A friend drove him to a local hospital and he was transferred to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, authorities said.
No one was in custody as Bellwood police investigated.
