Man Shot To Death After Cursing Driver
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 33-year-old man was shot to death on a South Side street Wednesday moments after cursing at occupants of a vehicle.
The gunman was inside a van when he got out and shot Charles Bush in the 5900 block of South LaSalle Street.
Bush yelled at a dark-colored van that passed him on the street about 7:50 p.m., police said.
Moments later, a shooter got out of the van and opened fire, striking Bush multiple times in the abdomen, authorities said.
The gunman then got back in the van, which sped off, police said.
Bush, who lived nearby in the 5800 block of South Princeton Avenue, was taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he died at 11:05 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
