Man Shot, Killed While Driving In West Pullman
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot and killed while driving in the West Pullman neighborhood Wednesday on the Far South Side.
Ulysses Gissendanner, 19, was shot in the head in the 12400 block of South Union Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
He was driving when he was shot about 2:35 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien, citing preliminary information.
Gissendanner, of the 9700 block of South LaSalle Street, was taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:15 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
