Man Shot, Killed On 71st Street In South Shore
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is dead after being shot on the street in South Shore.
Around 6:20 p.m. Sunday, the 32-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of East 71st Street when someone shot him twice in the head, police said.
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody late Sunday. Area Central detectives were investigating.
