Man Shot, Killed In West Englewood
CHICAGO (CBS) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the West Englewood neighborhood.
A 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 5600 block of South Ashland Avenue. Police responded at 12:56 a.m. Thursday.
The victim, Demarion Brewer of the 9600 block of South Perry Avenue,was pronounced dead at 1:34 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available, News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
No one is in custody as of the 6 a.m. hour Thursday.
