Man Shot, Killed During Carjacking In South Loop
CHICAGO (CBS) – A man is dead after a carjacking in the South Loop early Sunday morning, according to police.
Around 4:30 a.m., the victim, 44, was discovered outside on the street on the 0-100 block of East 24th Street with two gunshots to his lower extremities. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Information behind the incident remains under investigation.
No one is in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.
